how's life?
cool, great or amazing? randomness. seriously, how can holidays be bad, it has to be good, right?

well, nothing much happening these few days/weeks. except for the constant worries for sec 3.
why must life be so stressful? frankly, i think that holidays should not even be called holidays, they should be called worry-days, or study-days or something along those lines(as long as they're not vulgar :D) been trying to revise(a lot of emphasis on the trying part) some of the sec 2 stuffs and trying(again, a lot of emphasis on the trying part) to see how difficult sec 3 really is, but not really working out the way i wanted it to. and my chinese hols hmk is not helping either. it's like reading greek or something. normally, it wouldn't be this bad, but the tiny words+ the wierd pic and not to mention the wierd smell of the books all boils down to a afternoon nap(and, i should add that it helps, really, i feel refreshed after that very good afternoon nap). so, now, if i need to sleep extremely quick, all i need to do is take out that chinese book and voila, my eyes are shut and i'm off to la-la land :D

anyways, i've always wondered why must we always worry about so many things. we're like constant worrying machines, never knowing when to stop worrying. it's like burned into our DNA and we can't get rid of it, at all. and as if i don't have enough to worry about now.

when school reopens, i'm gonna be in for one hell of a shit-ride.(esp. the second week of term 1)
Tuesday- Piano lesson/ handicap course(for golf)
Wednesday- O Level music lesson
Friday- CCA Orientation/Sec 1 OC campfire
and the worst part,
the Sec 1 OC is on the second week of school, either Monday/Tuesday or Wednesday/Thursday
so now i'm like stuck between a rock and a hard place.
and might i add, the rock is made of marble :D
as if i didn't have enough to worry about before this.
my mind is like a F1 track now. thoughts are racing like mad, the smell or rubber makes me nauseous and i feel like i'm stuck in one hell of a shithole...

anyways, less about the worrying(see now i'm worrying about what i should say next)

Holas,

here 2 blog again :D

Anyways, as the title suggests, 2day's post is all about looking back at my life(emphasis on my) :D
Although i noe nobody bothers to read this 99.9999999991% dead blog, but, i'm still gonna talk rubbish:)
*change of mood*

2 years has past by so quickly, it was like ytd when i came into SJI. I still remember on the first day, Dominic was the acting class chairman( although it was a short reign, but still, i have to admit, he was quite good) and when i saw my form teacher, i had no idea of her gender. Was it a boy trying to be a girl, or a girl trying to be a guy? Even today, that question still keeps running through my mind. Then when i became an AV rep, you have no idea how happy i was. But at that time, i dun think my form teacher had high hopes, coz she's a maths teacher and my maths kinda sucked like shit, so i dun think i really got into her good books, maybe it was my good looks?? JK JK, but i am handsome. I'm like this narcissistic piece of breathing eating and drinking congregation of cells :D. And then in Sec 2, my maths suddenly improve and i guess my form teacher was like "Oh Darryl, you're so good, everyone, look at Darryl. Everyday he practice maths, then now you see, his maths is so good" then i'm like rolling my eyes. and i was third in class for first term of Sec 2. Then all of a sudden, i was so pro and then i held a monopoly of first for like two terms(i lost to leslie in FYE by 0.3X %) but i'm okay. i love to spread the joy of first. In fact, i encourage everyone to be first, but of course, not everyone cane be first so manytimes(Like ME :D) okay, i really think i'm going crazy.

Anyways, it was during ACE camp when i found out that my class are not really headless chickens anymore. so it goes to show that camps really shows a person's true colours(and i found out that the noisiest boys in my class are scared of insects) so it goes to show that camps really show the best and worst side of everyone. Anyways, it was at this camp that i realised that i really missed this class. Earlier on, i always thought that they were total f*****s, but now i think that they are just special people, each with their own abilities and strengths and we really form this nice picture. i am like picturing a photo frame with the words 205 on it. anyways, now that we're splitting, i really feel sad. My heart(yes, i have a heart, people) is like overwhelmed with sadness.

and in scouts, i realised that i do really love scouts. when i first entered, i didn't like it one bit, i thought it was a torture to goo for trainings every Friday. But then when people said that their CCAs were better than scouts, i became extremely defensive and that was when i realised that scouts was my choice. i picked it, so i should love it no matter what shit they throw in your way.

anyways, next year, i will not be seeing any of my Sec 1 and 2 classmates, so ACE camp was like a final goodbye(oh and i'm in 331, so in your face,Eden)

how's life?

i've recently juz noticed that my post are getting shorter and shorter and shorter.
so 2day, i promise it's gonna be...*drum roll*....... even SHORTER
hahas. lamos.
anyways, ytd was patrol outing with well, my patrol(like obvious)
and it was f-u-n. we went cinileisure and then we went to eat KFC(although really, i tink KFC's overrated.) anyways, outside the shopping centre was like tis guy who was giving out coupons and we like took abt half his stack away, and in the end, nvr use :)
waste paper. so un-enviormentally friendly.
and then we went 9th floor play LAN.
in the 14 yrs of my very nice life,
i swear with all my life, i have nvr ever entered a LAN place before.
i mean like you're renting computers when you have computers at home, so it's like diao much.and somemore at home, it's free :)
anyways, the patrol outing was fun, very fun-tertaining(a emoprince original)
and fun-alicious(yet another emoprince original) and fun-tastic(again, a word created by yours truly)

anyways, on to my personal life,

went 2 watch Harry Potter ytd.
okay okay only lah, but i didn't expect it to be so boring.
the only scary part was when the Imperi(i tink tat's what it's called, if i remember the book correctly) came out of the water, although the scary quotient maybe only 6/10
went JP to watch. and i juz realised that when in the cinema and i walk, i get a bit dizzy and disorientate :)
so when i walk in that time, always almost keep on falling(but of course nvr, or else so embarrassing)

sry so long nvr post....
only remembered tat i need to post like 5 mins ago :)

camp was.... horrible, but it's over(i mean, wad can you expect from scouts who only know the words 'knock-it-down')
and i so did not sleep well during e camp...

a little breakdown of the days' activities...

1st day
slept at 130, woke up at 530

2nd day
slept at 3, woke up at 6(i could hv slept later, but apparently, i fell asleep.... while carrying sth!!! so yeah, we all went to sleep)

3rd day
slep at 330, woke up at 520(=.= can't believe i still remember the time that i sleep)

so while i was working late into the night, a thought suddenly hit me(literally)
i've always wondered why i joined scouts.
was it because i love campcraft??
err.... not really

was it because i'm gd at knots??
err... no

was it because i'm good at footdrill
*rolls eyes* so not(seriously, i'd rather scrub toilets)

so why did i ever join scouts??
well, the most practical answer would be Joshua Goh...

as horrible as the camp was, i survived/made it/did not drown in a big tub of water etc etc

Sit-ups- 48(actually i only do like 42 but Anjan help me plus, tks Anjan)

had some music test.

then after tat i screwed up the songs on the guiutar(i'm a piano person, not a guitar guy, so you can't blame me)

then after tat, was chemistry, was like revising the MYE,
then a lot of ppl got sent out coz they nvr do,
but i finished it :)
coz i went 4 the remedial on thursday then copy all the ans. :)

then after tat geog, mr lim came in then say it is the last lesson and that after the lesson, he will be crying tears of joy

b4 i start on 2day's post, i tink tat it is far to warn you tat tis post will be kinda long.

and oso, b4 you read the rest of e post, i suggest tat you go to the songs and change the song to Rob Thomas 'little wonder', and tat there will not be short form 4 the nxt few paragraphs...
and please, do not expect any optimism as 2day is the self-proclaimed 'Darryl's day of pessimism'

so 2day i was revising 4 my MYE and suddenly, i had a super flashback of my life since PSLE.
Well, i still remember the time when i first got my PSLE result. i was like, 2...4...6
then it was and oh-my-gosh-i-got-246-and-i-still-dun-noe-wad-school-2-go-to kind of feeling.
then i had my sights set on Nan Hua High, but apparently, their aggregate went up to 248, so it was and oh-well moment for me. So my second choice was SJI. So SJI wasn't exactly my first choice. Sorry SJI :-) so when the posting came out i was like, yep-i-got-into-SJi-and-it-is-no-surprise-at-all type of thing. but then Puyu(my P6 self-proclaimed best friend) went to Clementi Woods and i was like, 'damn, i can't be with best friend'.(so, to Ryan Ang, if you're reading, you are definitely not my best friend, or my friend, not even close...)
so i was thinking of switching school but then fate decided tat i should go to SJI and join the ranks of people whose PSLE T-score is more than mine....

so, first day of school, i went over to the canteen and i was like, oh my. then i saw Tedd and he directed me to the hall, and i saw that i was posted to 105, so i was like finding, and i saw some guy, i think it was Dominic, and he was holding up a lollipop-shaped thing with the number 5 on it, so naturally, like any other person will, i walked over....
i still remember that i sat at the front corner of the class(where Chen Da is sitting) and i was like reading a random book, not really mixing with the rest of my classmates. i think that the first person i talked to was leslie. so i was appointed class AV rep, not a very promising role, i know. but still....

then was orientation camp, and my group was called "Paulele". strange name, i know. Joshua Goh......
not my type of name, but still....
and during the camp we saw Joshua Goh aka german aka Vladimir Kohinski for the first time and i was like, 'who is this strange guy standing there, who's totally shorter than me, talking rubbish. he's obviously not a German, and his name is definitely not Vladimir Kohinski. Liar.' but still... Joshua was stll very entertaining with his fake speech about bombing the Russians and everything. and that was when Miss Wee's gender came under the spotlight, cause most of our class has serious doubts about the Miss in Miss Wee:-).
(no offense intended)

next came the orientation campfire. we were reharsing and i was screaming my head's off but half the people were hardly listening. then came the actual campfire, and i have to admit, it was cool, and i was looking at the scouts and i was thinking, 'i swear i'll never ever join that CCA. it'll be over my dead body' but look what CCA i'm in now :-) Scouts.

then came the choosing of the CCA. and Mr Goh was giving the speech and i was like'if the German is in Scouts, then it must be a good CCA' so that's why i joined.

then came UTC. 5 days of hell, and heaven at the end :-)

then prefect.....
it was quite unexpected, but i guess my good boy face does come in handy if i want to get what i want and apparently, i don't pout and sulk like Ryan Ang to gain the teacher's favour.
so here i am, 1 year on, with a green tie hanging over my uniform which i don't know if i fully deserved it. but i guess, i have met new friends, and it is the only thing that keeps me going. and friends like Ivan, Trevor, Kai Yan, R Qwek, Samuel Chong, Ace Cheah and many other people, including Kevin:-)

and then swimming carnival, a major part of my life. (like real) but oh well,

i always wondered why i joined scouts, other than the German.
i could have joined something like Guitar Ensemble, where freedom is second nature, but here in Scouts, it definitely is the last nature. but if i did not join scouts, i definitely would not have known Joshua goh, and i definitely won't be going to his house and play Halo and Call of Duty, which i have grown to hate because of my lack of hand-eye coordination. even Ghost recon doesn't appeal to me, and it cost 60 dollars. but in guitar ensemble, it would be chicken feet, with my piano experience coming into play. so i do not need to spend half the time thinking which note is on the first line, and so on and so forth. but then again, i would not be able to meet Imran aka mr Shah, who has become my friend/number 1 enemy, i definitely would not meet like half the people from 101/201.
so it really was quite a mental debate over which CCA would have been best for me.

and recntly, i have to sit next to Ryan Ang because i am counted kind and everything. but actually, i've always been known as da-tou-wang(big head king), hence the blog name :-). so now all of you know the origins of my blog name, so pls, stop asking questions about my wierd blog name. it is merely just putting a primary school nickname into the spaces before the .blogspot.com :-)

and i always tell people that yeah, i'm void of all feelings except happiness. and someone would say, don't tell me you never cry before. then i'l roll my eyes and start spouting expletives like a uncontrollable machine guns, hence the void of all feelings part :-)

and naturally, my sarcasm would also be in the line of fire. i'll tell people that sarcasm is second nature to me, just like eating rice :-)

so 2day's title was wierd, but at least it beats the common title of 'don't look back' or 'no regrets'(no offense intended, Joshua). so just something i invented over dinner today.

not that i'm not enjoying life in SJI. don;t get me wrong. i absolutely love SJI, but sometimes, it's still hard to let go of your primary school days where you would play games like Catching, freeze and melt, the sort. so to all 6e 2007 people who are reading this, it must really bring back good memories, huh. Good Times, Good Times..

2day school declare holiday, so did not have to go to school.

so me and my dad sent my mother to office which was like next to vivo then after tat, we went to the mandai exec golf course.
was gonna play a nine hole, still trying to get my PC. i tink feb or march. long way, long way.
so we were like the only ppl there. spooky:-0

then we tee off:-).
ball went 2 the right then blah blah.
at 10+(am), finally finish, then went home bathe.
then went out again to vivo to meet my mother 4 lunch.

yes, i survived and i'm proud of it.

well, wad did i survive?

i survived.....
- a day in school
- scout training
- being irritated by ryan ang
- a test

but last but definitely not the least,
i survived a week without joshua goh

well, it seemed like it was ytd when i first met joshua, the Russian.
and i swear, i tot he was with the mafia. jk jk:-)
well, i remember when we were at scouts HQ,
i spammed his inbox after getting his number, which was absolutely fun.
he was definitely the most understanding and funny person.
the only scout who would actually tell a joke, well other than imram, but tat's not the point.
i tink joshua goh was the only person, other than my parents, relatives, sibling, blah blah who hv actually made an impact on my life.
and he was oso the only person who was fine wif me pawning scouts :-)
so it was really sad when he left on the last day.

okay, now 2 more less depressing subject.
well 2day school was okay.
IEP was fun, i played a doubles match and although we rarely won, except for a few times, but it was reallyx1000 funx1000:-)

and 2day was foot drill test. i failed, but i still hv more chances so jia you jia you, add oil add oil
*sighs* then *coughs* coz sore throat still bugging me :-)

then i left my school uniform and pe attire in the scout den.

well, it's the third day of CNY. luv it.
angbao collect until my pockets all full.
so fun.....
so let's see, i tink i start with the CNY eve,
umm...
i fell sick so had to see doctor.... :-(
fever, 38 degrees. but okay already lah. then first day of CNY,
got sore throat =.=
so suei.
but that day i play with my cousins the..... ummm.... yah

yup, tt's the question i get when i tell ppl i'm from scouts.
it's been 2 yrs since i joined scouts. and up till now, still got ppl believe i'm not from scouts.

well, ytd was sec 1 orientation campfire and again i'm in scouts so we helped build the campfire. and yes, when i walked by some of my teachers and they saw me, they were like....
SCOUTS...... ARE YOU SERIOUS? lols
well, all in all, it was quite fun lah. i was imran's personal assistant. at least got job so dun have 2 sing song like the rest of the ppl:-)
so we had this SUPER big campfire in the middle of the parade square piled with dried wood soaked in kerosene and there was this cloth, again soaked in kerosene, linked to the wood. and there was these metal wire hanging from the 3rd story. and we put 'fireball' onto the metal wire. again, soaked on kerosene:-) and we light it and let it SLIDE AND SLIDE AND SLIDE AND SLIDE all the way to the wood. and it burned.

tt was really unexpected and vry emotional moment.

already like 2 weeks but i still gt problems waking up =.=

first period was PE and mr Su was hollering in his SUPER DEEP voice. damn funny. then, we try to lie to Mr su, and instead of saying 'dun lie 2 me' he said 'dun lie on me'. the whole class laugh like siao. then physics. so confusing:-( couldn't understand wad Mr Ng was saying. sure fail wan lah.
then gt core skills, very slack lor. we juz need 2 do some stuff.
then after tt gt RME, was watching video. again, vry slack:-)
then gt maths. confusing, but manage 2 do everything.
